AFCO Systems Names Chief Technology Officer

Design Press Releases

As datacenter design, power and cooling management play a greater role in the decisions of datacenter IT and facilities professionals, smart vendors are making more resources available to help them make critical decisions. Recognizing this need among its financial, media and retail industry customers both in North America and Europe, AFCO Systems (www.AFCOSystems.com), has responded by promoting industry and company veteran John Consoli to become the company's first Chief Technology Officer.
"As an AFCO Systems customer at Comcast, and earlier at JP Morgan Chase, I have had the pleasure of working with John and his team as they delivered solutions that met our specific datacenter needs," said Gary Aron, Vice President of Data Center Facility Engineering for Comcast. "He has always been a terrific partner, guiding us with his knowledge of the technology that would best match our requirements."
"John has been a primary catalyst in AFCO Systems' growth over the past ten years by eloquently and passionately explaining our technology differentiators and value proposition. His business development and technological leadership has been recognized throughout the organization as well as the industry," said Jerry Becker, AFCO Systems president. "In his new role, John provides AFCO with a consistent and strong voice to the industry."
"My efforts will continue to be focused on helping customers understand and apply AFCO's technology in ways that will benefit their organizations," said Consoli.
In his new role, Consoli will serve as AFCO's technological voice to the industry, actively participating in conferences and networking events and representing the company during industry events and speaking opportunities. In addition, Consoli will provide guidance and clarity on customer-facing technology issues for all departments, assist in new product development and deliver product presentations in support of the sales team, provide market intelligence, assist in training and development of new hires to sales and customer service, assist in the development of sales strategy, work with the channels team to provide support for channel sales partners.
