There are several dangers for this data, equipment and the most precious of all these things – the human lives; and one of the greatest causes of danger is from fire. Of the various factors which pose a hazard and threat to the functioning of a data center, fire is its deadliest enemy. Since fire is indirectly related to heat which is available in plenty within the data center the safety against fire is a must not only from the technical perspective but from the regulatory aspect as well in that adequate fire protection systems must be installed as per the local or national regulations governing the same.
