The Uptime Institute’s The Invisible Crisis in the Data Center Symposium, March 4-7, Orlando

The largely invisible costs of providing power, cooling and data center infrastructure support are increasing faster than the performance gained from new IT equipment. The Uptime Institute will lead discussions related to this phenomena and its impact with industry stakeholders and research underwriters at The Invisible Crisis in the Data Center Symposium: How IT Performance is Driving the Economic Meltdown of Moore’s Law.

More than 400 delegates are expected to attend representing a broad-spectrum of companies including: Bank of America, BellSouth, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Boeing, Carnegie Mellon University, Capital Group, Fidelity Investments, HSBC Bank, International Paper, Morgan Stanley, Nationwide Insurance, Pepsi, Shell, Social Security Administration, State Farm, Vericenter, and Wachovia Bank.

Premier Research Underwriters involved include AMD, APC, EMC/VMware, HP, IBM, and Intel.
